Carpet Beetles

There are a number of carpet beetle species: Varied Carpet Beetle (Anthrenus verbasci) and Fur Beetle (Attagenus pellio). Carpet beetles attack keratin containing products such as wool, fur, leather, silk and dried animal remains.

Larder Beetle (Dermestes Lardarius) and Hide Beetle (Dermestes Maculates)

These beetles feed on any animal protein and are a serious pest in hide storage facilities and dairy processing plants.
